Graduating Seniors

James Clemente

Jim Clemente is a Senior Film student at Fairfield University. He is the 2022 recipient of both the Mary Louise Larrabee Award for Outstanding Achievement in Film, Television, and Media Arts and the Italian Studies Award. Jim grew up in Fairfield, CT, served in the Air Force after high school and worked in retail for ten years before returning to school in 2018. After graduating this Spring, Jim hopes to spend time with his family, play guitar, pursue a career as a filmmaker and continue his studies.

 

John Dumke

John Dumke is a senior double major in finance and film hoping to pursue filmmaking after he graduates from Fairfield University. He grew up in Marshfield Massachusetts and has enjoyed college at Fairfield U over the last four years. When he is not participating in classes or working on film projects he plays on the club rugby team. He hopes to use both of his majors to start a production company in the future. As of graduation, John is open to working on any and all film projects.

Danielle Minero

Danielle Minero is both a Senior Film student and Graphic Design Minor at Fairfield University. She grew up in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey and has enjoyed being a member of the women's Club Lacrosse Team since freshman year. When not attending classes or creating film projects, she can be found spending time with her friends, family, and pets. Dani is a Bellarmine Scholar who is looking forward to pursuing both digital media and graphic design after graduation.

Elise Allum

Elise Allum is a sophomore, commuter student from Norwalk, CT. Currently, she is pursuing a Major in Environmental Studies, with a double FTMA and Sociology minor. Before pursuing her undergraduate studies Elise already had an interest in film, but was uncertain if it was something she could pursue. However, she was quickly inspired to add it as a minor during a film class added to her schedule freshman year, for which she is very grateful. Today, she is a Teaching Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Michelle Farrell, here at Fairfield University. She enjoys the creativity film allows her to exercise and particularly enjoys lighting, editing, and production design. In the future, Elise seeks to contribute to documentary and narrative films that allow us as a human race to gain a greater appreciation for life and better empathize with one another.

Abby Byrne

Abby Byrne is a sophomore from Boston, MA, majoring in Film, TV, and Media Studies with a minor in Italian. Having had a passion for filmmaking since her childhood, the experiences and opportunities that the Fairfield film program has given her have felt like a dream come true. In the past two years of studying film, Abby has fallen in love with screenwriting, cinematography, and editing; enjoying all stages involved in the filmmaking process. Considering that this is the first time one of her films will be featured in a festival, Abby is beyond excited to showcase her work at Cinefest and is honored to share the stage with so many talented student filmmakers!

Ryan Levine

Ryan Levine is a rising senior and Marketing major from New Jersey. He has a passion for storytelling and design, specifically through curating digital media such as infographics, posters, trailers and more. He serves as the Media Director for Fairfield University’s late-night programming organization, Fairfield@Night.

Jack McGlinchy

Jack McGlinchy is a Sophomore studying Film and Finance from Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey. Jack is a proud part of the Film program at Fairfield University and has an interest in documentary filmmaking and guerilla-style shooting.

John Anthony Rivadeneira

John Anthony Rivadeneira from Stratford, CT, is a freshman film major with the hopes of minoring or double majoring in marketing. John Anthony is a first generation American, a proud child of Ecuadorian immigrants, which is why he takes particular interest in immigration rights in his films being presented. He recognized his passion for film at a very young age, but realized it was something he wanted to pursue at fourteen. He loves all types of storytelling, from drama to comedy to horror. He is a diverse filmmaker who is able to successfully produce any genre, and enjoys bringing personal ideas to life with clever and innovative filmmaking.

Justin Sabogal

Justin Sabogal is currently a freshman film/business double major from East Windsor, NJ. He found his passion for filmmaking in high school and embraces all aspects involved in the film process. He has a love for storytelling and bringing ideas to life on screen.
